Professor Araujo is the Associate Head Coach for Cal State Fullerton. In 2018, Cal State Fullerton made history once again winning their third consecutive Big West Championship. Beside his long presence in D1 collegiate softball, Professor Araujo has also coached at the international level for the Mexican National Team.
Kerry Dienelt is a 2-time Olympian, 3-time NCAA Champion, and 3-time Hall of Fame Inductee.
She began her softball career at 6 years old, in a small city in Australia called Darwin, aka the “Outback” and went on to earn those 3 NCAA championships at UCLA. Next, she became the captain of the Australian Olympic team and helped lead them to two bronze medals.
Cody Thomson is the Assistant Coach for the University of Utah. He has coached this D1 program for the last 12 seasons.
Thomson works with the pitching staff, including recent All-Pac-12 selections Miranda Viramontes and Katie Donovan.
He is also former USA Softball Men's National Team pitcher, playing for the national team from 2004-09. He was named Best Pitcher at the NAFA World Series in 2006 and was a four-time ASA All-American.
Christina Washington is currently the pitching coach for Cal State Fullerton. She has pivoted to coaching at the D1 level after a stellar playing career, where she pitched for both Cal State Fullerton and Boise State.
Christina was selected on the inaugural All-Big West Conference Freshman Team while at Fullerton and she tossed the first perfect game in Boise State history.
Kayla Joyce is a former D1 assistant coach at Eastern Kentucky University and current player on the Philippine National Team. Before pursuing her Olympic hopes in international softball, Kayla was a four-year starter and impact player at Eastern Kentucky University.
Noleana “Woody” Woodard
After an All-American & Hall of Fame inducted playing career at San Jose State University, Noleana “Woody” Woodard went on to coach at University of North Carolina, La Sierra University, University of LaVerne, and at her D1 alma mater.
Kevin Castillo is currently a D1 assistant softball coach at Cal State Long Beach and a member of the Men’s U.S. National Fastpitch Softball Team. He has been a Team USA Member for over a decade and, also, has played on the ISF U.S. National Team, the Pan American U.S. National Team, and was an ISC All World Selection in 2015.
Shianne Brannan had a standout D1 collegiate career with Cal State Fullerton, before becoming a National Pro Fastpitch player for the Canadian Wild.
Known for her defensive prowess, Brannan put herself in the college record books ranking second all-time in fielding assists with 526 and finished her senior season with 160 assists, the fifth most in single-season history. Equally notable, she started all but six games throughout her entire collegiate career ranking ninth all-time with 228 games started.
Shianne Brannan is also a member of Team Canada, who will be competing for their spot in the 2020 Olympics.
Kylee Lahners is a former All-American from the University of Washington as well as an All-Region, All-Pac-12, and USA Junior National Team member.
After her stellar college career, Lahners became a National Professional Fastpitch (NPF) player. Currently, she represents the USA Baseball National Team competing in the Women's Baseball World Cup.
